Inaugural Recipients Announced

Last night marked a very special milestone for the Ryan J. Caulfield Memorial Scholarship Foundation as we awarded our first-ever scholarships.

Ryan was a proud Natick High School graduate whose compassion, kindness, and love for animals touched countless lives. Whether helping a friend in need or caring for an animal, Ryan approached everything with empathy, loyalty, and a genuine desire to make the world a little better.

This year, the scholarship committee had the privilege of reviewing applications from outstanding students pursuing careers in animal care and related fields. After careful consideration, we selected two exceptional Natick High School graduates whose passion for animals, commitment to service, strong work ethic, and compassion for others truly reflected the values Ryan lived every day.

One recipient distinguished herself through extensive volunteer work, hands-on animal care experience, academic excellence, and a demonstrated commitment to pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. The other recipient impressed the committee through years of animal care, farm work, leadership, mentorship, community involvement, and unwavering dedication to both animals and people.

What stood out most was not simply their accomplishments, but the sincerity, empathy, and sense of purpose reflected in their applications. Their stories reminded us of the qualities that made Ryan so special and gave us confidence that his legacy will continue through the next generation of animal advocates and caregivers.

Congratulations to our inaugural scholarship recipients. We are honored to support your journeys and cannot wait to see the impact you will make in the years ahead.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the Foundation, donated, volunteered, and helped make this first year possible and memorable. Because of you, Ryan's kindness continues to create opportunities for others.
